Established
We started the garment and textile contract manufacturing business in 1999 with our first garment factory. Since then, we have expanded with a second garment factory in 2010, which is our flagship factory located at 70A/71A Corner of Mingyi Mahar Min Khaung Street and Pan Chet Wun U Shwe Ohe Street, Hlaing Tharyar Industrial Zone 3, Yangon, Myanmar.
2009 – 2012
CO-DEVELOPMENT IN REAL ESTATE
In 2009, we diversified into the high-end condominiums business by co-developing the Golden Rose
Condominium. This is also the first ever condominium development in Yangon which introduces the
concept of indoor swimming pool. This development has since been completed and occupied.
Thereafter, encouraged by the positive reception to our first real estate project, we expanded
to co-develop two other larger-sized high-end condominiums, Hilltop 1 (plot area of
approximately 1800 square metres) and Hilltop 2 (plot area of approximately 6,500 square
metres), in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
2013
EXPANSION OF GARMENT BUSINESS
In the past few years, we expanded our scale of operations
with the addition of another three factories with a total floor area of 950,000 square metres.
Two of these factories are being used for garment & textile contract manufacturing, and one is a
carton box factory.
A fourth factory is being jointly developed with a Hong Kong-based company for purposes of
manufacturing sweaters.
2013
PAPER AND PULP
Towards the end of 2013, we acquired a long-term lease rights to one of the largest paper and pulp factories in Myanmar, which is located in Yaeni, towards the northern end of the Bago region.
2014

After a disastrous year battling a weak US dollar exchange rate, garment
makers are gearing up to boost production in the hopes that Western
sanctions will ease, industry figures said last week.
The renewed hope follows the early December visit to Myanmar by US Secretary
of State Hillary Clinton.
“I’m sure that this is the start of a good period for the industry because I
think the government will do everything it can do to boost the sector since
it employs so many people,” said U Khin Maung Aye, managing director of Lat
War Company in Hlaing Tharyar Industrial Zone, which runs two factories and
manages two more.
